Location of Hotel is middle of everything. Short distance to the biggest park, tram stop, bus station, train station and even to the beach. Really easy to go where ever in 3-city area! Really cheap price comparing to other hotels in same area. For me this was excellent solution cos I needed to be in Sopot daily. The owner seem to be improving rooms continuously.

We arrived very early and were given a room to rest in until our accomodation was ready. The villa is perfectly located between Gdansk and Sopot. We felt safe and welcome at all times and would recommend to friends.

artur,the owner,could not do enough for us,nothing was too much trouble,if he could help,he would.also there is a fridge to store food & tea/coffee making facilities which soom room only apts. do not have.the location is excellent,any 3 cities in half an hour by train,the station being about a 7 min. walk away,trams & buses are even closer.

The hotel was excellent value in terms of a city break. It was about ten minutes in a taxi to the city and thirty minutes on the tram.

Chciałem bardzo serdecznie polecić jako miejsce pobytu w Gdańsku Villę Sart. Świetne położenie, zarówno blisko centrum, ale jednocześnie bardzo blisko Sopotu. Duże ładne pokoje wyposażone w łazienkę i TV. Villa położona jest w cichej okolicy, co daje możliwość spacerów, szczególnie po parku w Oliwie. Przy ponownym pobycie w Gdańsku na pewno skorzystam z usług Villi Sart

Hostel is situated near railway station Gdansk Oliwa in the city part of same name. Its a few time to get to centre of Gdansk or Gdyna by SKM city train, or to beach by tram. Very quiet place to stay. Very big room a polite staff.

Położony w najbardziej malowniczej części starej dzielnicy Gdańska Oliwy, przy brukowanej, cichej uliczce, tuż obok pięknego Parku i Katedry. Łatwo stąd dostać się do Sopotu i na plażę. Bardzo miła, profesjonalna obsługa, spokój i wygoda - idealna przystań na weekendowy wypad do Trójmiasta dla tych, którzy nie chcą zbyt wiele wydać na noclegi.

Very good reception from the landlord Artur. He was extremely helpful and hospitable. Great value for your money and the rooms were cozy and clean. Although it wasn't located in the city centre it was certainly a nice neighbourhood with everything you need to get by. Don't miss the jazz bar around the corner! /Lina & Johan

"Great place to stay":

Went to Gdansk for our aniversary and stayed at Villa Sart in Oliwa. The area is really nice with a great park
When we arrived at the airport we got a taxi to the hotel and it was quite a way and only cost us 34 PZ about7 GBP.
The Villa Sart was easy to find and our double room had a balcony the owner was most helpful and always available to help and advise on our stay.
Once we understood the metro we found it easy and cheap to use. We visited Sopot and Gdania part of the tri-cities.
All in all areally great experience. Cant wait to go again.

This was a guest house like staying in someone's house.We had room 4 (out of 5)which was the largest I think (very big and very homely).Our room opened up to a balcony so we could have breakfast outside.There is a fridge to store food but no cooking facilities.There is also free internet access and living room to chill out in the basement.
- We had our own private bathroom outside the room in the basement (which meant going downstairs)-not a major issue though.A couple other rooms have private bathroom outside the room and I think others are ensuite.

I stayed for a week at the Villa Sart and had a lovely time. The rooms were comfortable, homely and clean and the owner was extremely friendly. She gave me very helpful advise on what to see and how to get around. I very strongly recommend this guesthouse - I'll certainly return there on my next visit to Gdansk

The property is on a lovely, quiet road and rather idillic background if you want to just relax and take it easy. We had a balcony with our room and it was lovely to feel relaxed and just sit out there to eat or do whatever. The staff are amazing and friendly, the internet is a bit slow but altogether a great place to stay.

We stayed in villa Sart for four nights in May. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, the room was a good size and clean. We had access to a private bathroom and toilet, though not ensuite,they were for our private use. The Villa is only a £10 taxi ride from the airport and is situated within 10 minutes walk from the train station and only 3 minutes from the tram terminus. We went to Gdansk for the day, cost less than £2 return. Supermarket nearby as is a lovely walk along the beach.

Отличный маленький семейный отель. Расположен на очень тихой улице, но очень близко от стоянки такси, банка, маленьких магазинчиков, недалеко станция "метро" Oliwa. Хозяин - очень приятный человек, прекрасно говорит по-русски и по-английски, интересуется русской музыкой. Рекомендую тем, кто хочет получить приятный и приличный сервис за очень умеренную плату.

Environs calmes, et surs (petit poste de police juste a cote, sans bruit de sirene, et rassurant). Bien desservie par le tram, le bus et le train/metro. Situation centrale entre les 3 villes Gdynia, Sopot et Gdansk. Chambre spacieuse et pourvue d'un balcon (ideal pour les fumeurs) - chambre 4. Le prix est tres competitif.

Bardzo przyjemne miejsce. Spedzilam 10 dni w Villa Sart i goraco polecam. Ja osobiscie bede zawsze mieszkala w Villa Sart kiedy tylko bede odwiedzala Trojmiasto. Pan Artur i Pani Rena niezwykle pomocni. Lokalizacja swietna.

The son of the owner who is present Monday - Fri is very helpful, in the know of every question a tourist could possibly ask. The hostel may not be in the centre but it right next to a great Jazz bar, surrounded by small shops and a McDs is just across the road in case of emergencies.

Man konnte mit Fragen immer zur Hausdame gehen, sie hat einem weiter geholfen. Durften auf abschließbarem Grundstück parken. Gab Balkon und kostenlosen Internetzugang. Ruhige, aber verkehrstechnisch gut angebundene Lage.

Dit kleine familiehotel bevindt zich in een rustige groene wijk van Gdansk tussen de stad en strand. Het treinstation is op de loopafstand waardoor de hele omgeving van Tricity is makkelijk te bereiken. De gastheer was erg vriendelijk, er is een internetverbinding beschikbaar en satellite TV.

Very cosy and hospitable accomodation. It's in the middle between the seaside resort soppot and gdansk. I would recommend it.

we had a really lovely time and felt very welcome. The room was very nice with it's own balcony and bathroom. There was a lounge we could use with free internet access and it was very cheap to call home on the room phone. The location is only 4 stops from the main town and the old town in Gdansk and only 2 stops from Sopot. Near the hotel are the amazing Cathedral, a beautiful park and the zoo. There was no breakfast available but access to a shared fridge and tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms and lounge. It was really cheap and a great place to stay, definately recommended.

Odwiedzilismy Oliwe we wrzesniu 2007 i bardzo polecamy Ville Sart! Pokoj super, sloneczny, z czajnikiem i szklankami (herbatka!), jest dostep do lodowki i suszarka do dyspozycji. Gospodyni bardzo sympatyczna i pomocna. Polozenie super - tuz obok parku oliwskiego i katedry, blisko stacji SKM (kilkanascie minut do centrum Gdanska). Na pewno tam wrocimy!

Chcielibysmy podziekowac, wspaniala rodzinna atmosfera (jednoczesnie nie narzucajaca sie), dokonale polaczenie z calym Trójmiastem, plaza etc.
Dostepny internet, lodówka i czysto.

A very good place to stay quitly and in a confortable way. Artur, the owner and manager, will be very kind with you for all suggestions you need. A better choice than to stay in a normal three star hotel without personality: Villa Sart will give you the comfort to stay so well for a very good price: there is the garden, the rooms are large, the hospitality is superbe.

Recently visited Gdansk and stayed at Villa SART, what a pleasant stay it was.

Very clean spacious rooms, open to come and go as you please any time of the day. Situated in a nice quiet part of Gdansk in the middle of the Tri-state area of Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia, all very easy to get to with public transport.

Artur and his mother were very helpful indeed, gave information on localities, transport, places to visit etc...

I went to visit some family while I was there and Autur even helped with finding the place they live and how to get there(free bus).

I will stay again in the future and also be recommending it to friends.

Witamy serdecznie. Pragniemy za pośrednictwem tej strony serdecznie podziękować za niezwykle udany pobyt w Państwa willi. Spędziliśmy tu cudowne 7 dni, ktore na zawsze pozostaną w naszej pamięci. Pokoik, w którym mieszkaliśmy był bardzo przytulny, z wszelkimi wygodami. Lokalizacja willi pozwoliła nam na zwiedzenie wielu najciekawszych miejsc Trójmiasta, ale też dostarczyła tak potrzebnego wszystkim wyciszenia i relaksu z dala od miejskiego zgiełku. Na długo zapamiętamy spacery w sąsiadującym Parku Oliwskim, który był dla nas oazą spokoju a także niesamowite ilości jemioły, które wisiały nad naszymi głowami . Te wszystkie atuty pozwalają bez wahania polecić to miejsce wszystkim tym, którzy pragną miło spędzić czas. Dziękujemy zatem raz jeszcze i serdecznie pozdrawiamy.Do zobaczenia

Villa Sart is a really lovely place worth recommending.
It's based in a lovely part of Gdansk, nice and quiet area, clean and spacious rooms, really friendly and helpful staff, privacy and freedom to go out and come back anytime you want.
We are definatelly comming back and bringing our friends with us!!!

We had an absolutly wonderful time in Poland and Artur and his mother made us very welcome indeed. Villa sart was very reasonable, and very close to the train, tram and bus.
we stayed 7 days and were very comfortable.

Hospitality was great, rooms and surroundings as well and Arthur and his mother always had good hints and information to all our questions. Its a good starting point for activities in Gdansk/Sopot/Gdynia and a nice place to come back to in the evening after a long day...

Czterodniowy pobyt w Villi Sart uwazamy za bardzo udany. Swietna lokalizacja (wszedzie blisko!), nasz pokoj (z balkonem!) byl bardzo ladny i czysty, wlasciciele to przemili ludzie. Zdecydowanie polecamy Villę Sart wszystkim odwiedzajacym Trojmiasto!

Es war schön im SART! Freundliche Menschen halfen dabei, nach vielen, langen Jahren etwas wiederzusehen in Oliva, was verloren ist.. Es waren sehr schöne Tage. Dafür herzlichen Dank!

Super clean and spacious room, satellite TV and Internet connexion we didn't use(the aim is to spend time oustide, isn't it? Especially in such a WONDERFUL city as Gdansk).
The location is far from Gdansk's centre but it's fast and supercheap with the train (5 min. walking and 15 min. by train) but the area is very calm and green.
Artur is very serviceable and nice but doesn't live there.
It's a super quality/price ratio.

This is a nice placae , the owner is very kidney , especially i am a foreginer , he help me a lot . Their apartment is nice very convenience , if u dont driving to Gandske , i like it .Honestly , i will go back and vist the city again , and i will tell all my friend have this good apartment , u dont need spent a lot of money but they can let u feel like its a 5 start hotel

The hotel has very good location, near train station and tram lines. The room is big and has a lot of facilities. The owner was very helpfull and the room was very comfortable and clean. The prices are quite good. I´m very happy for this election and I think that I will come back to Villasart

The hotel was need and tidy. The owner was serviceminded. We were offered a better room than we reserved. A nice and quiet hotel centraly located. We will visit it again.

Wir haben zu Fünft im Sart-Hotel Danzig 10 Tage gastiert und wurden sehr freundlich aufgenommen. Das Hotel liegt ruhig, jedoch unweit von Strassenbahn und Hauptverkehrsader im Stadtteil Oliwa,
ist zweckmässig eingerichtet und sehr preiswert.

Wir haben ein dreitägiges Herrenwochenende in der Villa Sart und Danzig verbracht und empfehlen diese als preiswerte und zentralgelegene Unterkunft weiter.

Meine Frau und ich waren vom 26.09.06 12 Tage in der Villa Sart. Der Gastgeger und seine Mutter sind sehr nette und hilfreiche Menschen. Für die Danziger Bucht ist Oliwa sehr Zentral gelegen. Uns hat es in der Villa Sart und Danzig sehr gut gefallen.

Ich war Anfang November für vier Tage in Gdansk und dabei in Gdansk-Oliwa in der Villa Sart untergebracht. Schon per e-mail Kontakt hat mich der Gastgeber vom Flughafen zur Straße, in der die Villa sich befindet, gelotst. Das Zimmer war gut beheizt bei meiner Ankunft, bei der es sehr kalt war. Die ganze Zeit war der Gastgeber Assistent bei offenen Fragen. Die Mutter des Gastgebers ist eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Dame. Danzig-Oliwa ist ein ruhiger und stressfreier Ort. Meine Weiterempfehlung der Villa Sart in Danzig-Oliwa.

Meine Freunde und ich haben drei sehr schöne Tage in Danzig verbracht. Mit dazu beigetragen hat die gute Unterkunft. Sie ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet und vor allem verkehrsgünstig gelegen. Man gelangt sehr schnell von dort in alle Richtungen. Es ist dort sehr ruhig, weil sie in einer Seitenstraße liegt.

I would like to present my opinion on Sart Villa hostel in Gdansk, Poland. I am very happy to say that all of the descriptions and information provided on the web site are exact reflection what I have found in the hostel. Very helpfull and devoted staff, clean and comfortable rooms, absolutely beautiful surroundings and easy access to all Tricity sites made my stay perfect. I would reccomend a stay in this hostel for all the backpackers and holiday makers as I am convinced they will have the same impressions on their stay. The affordable price will surprise everyone as well.

It's not like a hostel as you have your own room,own shower and the only thing so far you have to change the fridge with the other people. Only few rooms but if you look for peace and nop party place this is the perfect place to stay.Also very good located to Sopot10min. by train,Gdansk15 min by train and also close to two supermarkets,where you can buy groceries.
